In 1977, after more than 20 years of active service in the local construction industry, Charles A. Lewis, Sr. founded C.A. Lewis, Inc. as a general contracting firm serving eastern North Carolina.
From the beginning, C.A. Lewis built the company on a simple but lasting philosophy: listen to the client’s needs first, then deliver services in a way and on a timetable that best supports them. This “Client First” approach quickly earned the company a well-deserved reputation for successfully completing complex renovation projects while allowing clients to maintain their daily operations.
As the firm expanded to include new facility construction, that same tradition continued. Today, C.A. Lewis, Inc. operates through two divisions — industrial and commercial — to maximize its capabilities and provide clients with the highest level of service.
