Though our founder Charles A. Lewis, Sr. retired in 1992, C. A. Lewis, Inc. is still very much a family business. And while times may have changed, our commitment hasn't. You'll see that in our final products and you'll experience it when you meet our people.

J David Laney

President, LEED AP BD+C

David Laney handles the company's pre-construction services, from planning and design, through cost estimates and proposals.  David is a graduate of Pitt Community College with a degree in Architectural Technology, is a LEED®  Accredited Professional, and has been a member of the team at C.A. Lewis, Inc. since 1995.

Ross Woodall, CHC

Vice-President Commercial

Ross Woodall is a graduate of ECU, with a degree in Construction Management.  His responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating the construction process for a variety of projects, with special emphasis on religious and healthcare projects.  He has completed the OSHA 30 hour training program.

Charles Lewis, Jr.

Board Member

An employee since 1981, Charles Lewis, Jr. currently manages the overall commercial construction activities of C. A. Lewis. A workforce of approximately 50 craft persons currently operates under his management.  

Cheryl P. Brown

Director of Financial and Human Resources

A graduate from the Technical Institute in Durham, with 24 years of experience, Cheryl Brown is responsible for the firm's overall accounting functions, including: budgeting, payroll, payables, receivables, cost projections, and reporting. Additionally, Cheryl manages the company's employee benefits and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Shaun Cogley

Safety Director

With 19 years of commercial and industrial construction experience, Shaun has managed over one million square feet of projects spanning the mid-west and south-east. Joining the C.A. Lewis, Inc. team in 2007, Shaun now manages the C.A. Lewis, Inc. Safety Program including employee training, job site inspections and subcontractor compliance.

Tony B. Lewis

Chairman of the Board

Past President, Tony now serves as chairman of the board leading the company in its long term and strategic planning.

Wayne Higson

Industrial Project Manager

Joining the C.A. Lewis, Inc. team in 2012, Wayne brings over 40 years of industrial construction experience assisting clients in the US and abroad. Wayne is currently responsible for managing the C.A. Lewis, Inc. workforce in place assisting Domtar Personal Care with production line installations in Greenville, NC and other US cities. AWS/QC1 Certified Welding Inspection.
